Amongst the several random notebooks I have lying around, I opened to a page and came across some words I had scribbled about this song by Sigur Rós. Also habitually I date most of the words. And this was what I wrote about 3 months ago on 11 February:
“spatial, existential, bitterly romantic and deeply etching”
Now in retrospect, these words stood the test of time as now they hold to be more true than before. Here they are unplugged and live from Reykjavik. I’ll be keeping my eyes glued to their concert dates in the meantime.
