Chilli-miso poached salmon with Eastern greens / Orange Wakame Salad

Last Sunday, it was a rare occasion to be grocery shopping with my
mum. She usually is in charge of the wet market, while I take care of
supermarket shopping. Never one day she would not make dinner for us
all. She doesn’t take days off for this other ‘job’. I am sure she
never ever thought of it as a chore. Although on some lazier days, she
hands over her duties to me.

All she said was, “Feel like fish, preferably not Chinese. Dinner’s yours”. Those words entered my ears while reading about cannabis fudge and the lesbian chef who thinks highly of it. At the end of the article, I picked one of the four recipes she shared based on my mum’s dinner preferences.
