three : ingredients for pasta

Swift, simple and sexy are three adjectives I strive for when cooking pasta.  Three ingredients to chop while the pasta boils to al dente in 8 minutes.  Three minutes to sauté the finely chopped onion in olive oil close to transparency.  Finally another three minutes to toss in the pasta, add chopped cilantro and grilled red pepper then season with fresh ground pepper and a sprinkle of sea salt.  Before serving, tip a generous drip of fruity Spanish extra virgin olive oil.
