Our tiny studio apartment comes with a kitchen that too tiny for one
person. The appliances available were an electric stovetop, one very
blunt knife, a mini refrigerator, a dented pan and a very heavy pot.
One of the ways we try to keep our daily expenses down is to eat
in. In this small kitchen, we have had some of our best meals ever for
breakfast and dinner almost every day. All we needed was the freshest
produce of the day. Proofs that you don’t ever need a complicated
kitchen or cooking methods to make delicious food.
Bread baked fresh from the organic bakery, meat from the butcher,
riped plums plucked from the trees and Austrian butter (of course!)
were some of the ingredients that made these magical meals.
Spiralli Bolognese and Minestrone Soup
Pork Chops with Fresh Tomato & Onion Dressing
Sirloin steak with creamy mushroom sauce
Pork with Fresh Vineyard Plums
A big breakfast every morning without fail!
