Accompanying the erratic snowfall and yo-yo weather, the buds are showing that spring has arrived.  Usually this is the season also for exquisite and priced white asparagus appearing in every supermarket and grocery stall.  Together with S, these asparagus were meant for lunch.  However as we or I ambitiously attempt to introduce her to every single good item to eat in Munich, I obviously forgot the limited two days of the weekend we had in our bags.  Sorry S, I hope you’ll pick out a bunch for yourself in Borough Market.  They are easy – boiled for 15 minutes till soft, then bathed in a lemon butter sauce with grated Parmesan (using the Microplane, of course!).
