Salad of Bread, Sundried Tomatoes + Goat Cheese

A meal in Vinaiolo, my all-time favourite Italian restaurant located in Haidhausen, Munich had always been a memorable and inspiring experience. It’s one of those places you have on your list where you’ll go, expect to pay, you know the service is top-notch, and that when you leave, you are sure to have another wonderful meal from start to finish. Most things in life are uncertain, but in Vinaiolo I am absolutely sure. It’s one of those rare gems.

Simplicity with creativity rule their menu, never was a dish complex. They bring out the best in each ingredient with minimal fuss and in ways you’ll never come across in any other Italian restaurants.

This salad was inspired during my most recent trip to the restaurant- a salad of cherry tomatoes, soaked bread and fresh buffalo mozzarella. It’s so simple, straightforward in appearance, that when it was served we thought it could be below par. However we were blown away at first bite, we were so wrong.
