Krakow : A Week On The Road

Today marks a week from the day we arrived in Vienna. Every evening we return to our room with tired legs and sore feet from a whole day spent discovering the cities. Some days, being able to take an evening shower is a celebrated event. Our meals consist mostly purchases from the hot dog and kebab counter. Sitting down for a restaurant meal seems to be more of a luxury now. Each time we place our backpacks down, our shoulders scream in pain.

My pants seem to be getting too large for me by the day (yipppeeee!) while the Better Half’s already small waistline is shrinking (to his despair!).

It does sound a bit like a torture, doesn’t it? Traveling is tough I must say, but rewarding enough to make the above negligible.

Tonight we will leave Krakow on an overnight train to Prague and we hope to enjoy the same glorious sun we have had here for the past 3 days. (And we are not looking forward to the 2am border checks especially with the officer’s unfamiliarity with Malaysian passports.)
